2. Website access and hosting

When you access the website, technically necessary connection data may be processed, including your IP address, access time, requested address, transferred data volume, referrer, browser and operating-system information. This is required to deliver the website, maintain stability and prevent misuse.

The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Hosting, delivery and protection services are provided by OpenAI and Cloudflare. Where data is processed outside the European Economic Area, the safeguards provided for by the GDPR, in particular standard contractual clauses, are used. Technical logs are retained only as long as necessary for operation, security, troubleshooting or legal obligations.

If you contact us by email, your sender address, message content and delivery metadata are processed to handle and answer your request. Email sent to [email protected] is forwarded through Cloudflare Email Routing to the mailbox used by the controller. The email services involved process the data required for delivery.

Depending on the request, the legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR. Messages are deleted once the request has been completed unless statutory retention duties or legitimate reasons require longer storage.

4. Cookies, analytics and embedded content

ResistoScope does not use analytics, advertising or profiling cookies. The interactive map and media are served from the website itself. Hosting security functions may occasionally store or read strictly necessary information on your device. External websites are contacted only after you select a corresponding link; their privacy policy then applies.

Subject to the applicable legal requirements, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability and objection. You may withdraw consent at any time with future effect. Contact the email address above to exercise your rights.
